What makes The Millen Penang a world of its own is its boutique charm inspired by its colonial heritage. Resting along "Millionaire's Row" where the British administrative officers once lived, the hotel reimagines this piece of history through its elegant spaces and chic amenities.
To fully capture this architectural embodiment of quiet luxury, we used high-grade DSLR camera equipment with advanced D capabilities to ensure every shot came out in 11K perfection. These panoramas are then put through our hospitality-level post production to finetune the colours and clarity.
Visual staging was also a key focus during the photography session. We identified the best angles, and worked closely with the team to make the spaces presentable while allowing its unique selling points to stand out.
Our experience in creating hotel virtual tours, especially for Marriott hotels, meant that our team has developed an eye for composing for luxury properties. Every room and suite were shot at the right time with proper lighting, and further adjusted to ensure the panorama tells a story. For each bathroom, we selected viewpoints that highlight the standalone bathtub overlooking the Straits of Melaka, along with the modern sink countertops on one side, and the plush bathrobes hanging on the other.
Every restaurant in The Millen Penang was set up to look like prestigious invitations to different dining experiences. To illustrate this, each panorama was shot at different times and purposefully edited to fit the mood: morning lightheartedness for the contemporary Lili; evening sophistication to match the vibe in Blacklinen's grillroom.

The Millen tells a tale of bygone sophistication, with all the modern-day luxuries one would need for an indulgent stay. This is brought out from the get go with a breathtaking aerial view of the hotel, tucked amidst the historical enclave of Georgetown, Penang.
We added storytelling elements such as a user-friendly layout with descriptions and custom navigational hotspots.
An aerial view of the overall property makes the perfect opportunity to flaunt the location that looks out upon the sea. To highlight the historical neighbourhood, we opened the virtual tour with aerial labels that point out heritage landmarks and key attractions.
Within the Nut & Meg Spa lobby, we included an intuitive hotspot that shows the two room categories featured for the spa. When clicked, they bring you into the respective treatment rooms, each with a tranquil set-up that befits a wellness haven.
The custom hotspots in the event spaces serve a different purpose: to show several different room and furniture layouts. This helps their prospective customers visualise the ballrooms and meeting venues in a more immersive way, as it would be arranged by the hotel's events team.
The elegant visuals are paired with images, videos, and background music to highlight the hotel's contemporary amenities, while positioning The Millen Penang as a tech-driven brand.
